I like something healthy especially when it taste like it’s suppose to be bad for you. In my opinion this tastes similar to carrot cake but with out the added calories. I also can get some veggies in my diet easier this way. If you try this recipe let me know how it is.
What You’ll Need
1 cup of carrots
Handful of spinach
1/4 cup of craisins or raisins
1 cup of vanilla or regular almond milk
dash of cinnamon (however much you like)
Blend all ingredients together. Pour over ice if desired. Enjoy!
Every once in awhile I’m in the mood for some baked cauliflower. Here is what I usually do.
What you’ll need:
1 head of cauliflower
3 tbsp olive oil
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
Step 1: Chop into florets. Meanwhile set your oven to 450 degrees F.
Step 2: Measure out 3 tbsp of olive oil
Step 3: Toss cauliflower with the olive oil
Step 4: Place on a baking tray. I used a Silpat (it’s just easier to clean). Feel free to add salt and pepper before placing in the oven. Bake for 25 minutes, stir halfway through.
Step 5: I ended up using half of the 1/3 cup of Parmesan because the head of cauliflower was smaller. Top the cauliflower with Parmesan cheese and broil for 5 min until golden brown.
Last night my manfriend and I stopped at the grocery store to get some stuff for dinner. While there, we came across Wild Blue blueberry lager. It tasted pretty good then my odd mind had the thought of making a float with it. The only ice cream we had in the house was my Talenti caribbean coconut gelato. I decided why not give it a go. A half cup of the gelato with some of the blueberry lager created an oddly enjoyable float! Next time I want to try a chocolate ice cream with a banana bread beer I came across. What weird float combinations would you all be willing to try?
